LARISSA BOLLIGER

Pilates Guru

I am a qualified FitPro registered level 3 Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer. I hold The Thoughtful Body Mama’s Pilates Pregnancy and Postnatal Postgraduate Qualification and a level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Postnatal clients with Exercise and Nutrition. I also hold a certificate in Barre Pilates Method Training, Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions.

 I am the Lead Pilates instructor at Medineeds Health and Wellness in Taunton where I deliver sessions for one to two clients, I work with physiotherapists, osteopaths and podiatrists to ensure smooth rehabilitation after injury or surgery.

My passion is to help people, everyone is different and everyone is seeking fitness for different reasons. I believe that movement is medicine and consistence is key. I also believe that successful exercise should combine a strong body and a strong mind. Pilates focuses on a strong muscle to mind connection which makes each movement very powerful. Therefore I am a firm believer in the power of Pilates for so much more than just fitness, it is a tool to aid complete physical and mental wellbeing.

We are all at different levels of fitness and exercise and I’m here to help you reach your personal goals.

CLASSES & TRAINNING

All my classes combine a postural and core setup, warm up, balance exercises, standing cardio with weights, mat exercises and a cool down.  

​

I run a full weekly online program of classes, which include Pilates, Barre Pilates and High Intensity Power Pilates.  I offer in person classes for both Ante and Postnatal, Pilates for all abilities and Barre Pilates. My classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. I offer one to one personal training sessions either online or in person.

​

I also work alongside a core group of Health Professionals at Medineeds Health & Wellness, where I offer one to one Pilates sessions. These classes can be very beneficial if you having physiotherapy treatment for any injuries, spinal or muscular discomfort or related issues. I can give general advice on nutrition and exercise.

​

At La Pilates, I design my classes to help strengthen, tone and improve your performance and flexibility through a series of mobility and movement exercises.  This happens in a relaxing, inspiring and friendly atmosphere.
