ABOUT ME

I am a firm believer in the power of Pilates for so much more than just fitness, it is a tool to aid complete physical and mental wellbeing.

My passion is to help people, everyone is different and everyone is seeking fitness for different reasons. I believe that movement is medicine and consistence is key. I also believe that successful exercise should combine a strong body and a strong mind. Pilates focuses on a strong muscle to mind connection which makes each movement very powerful.

ENGAGE YOUR CORE

Learning to engage your core muscles correctly can help to protect your spine and strengthen your core during all your daily activities, not just when you are exercising. Your Transversus Abdominus Muscle and your Pelvic Floor work together and activate one another, these are the two main deeper stabilizing core muscles we need to learn to engage.  Practicing Pilates can help you to understand more about these muscles, where they are, how they work and how to properly engage them.
